Privacy Policy

HAYABUSA Co., Ltd. ("we") sets out the following policy for handling information in the Shopify app PayLock (the "App").
1. Information we handle
To connect to Shopify stores and provide its features, the App handles store domains, app authentication and session information, products, variants, collections, product tags, payment method names, and settings registered in the App. Payment display rules also use customer tag matches, login status, checkout total and currency, shipping country or region, and the selected delivery method name provided by Shopify. We do not collect or store customers' payment card information.
2. How we use information
We use the information to apply payment method display rules based on products, customers, amounts, and delivery conditions, resolve issues, maintain security, and provide and improve the App. Checkout conditions are evaluated within Shopify Functions. The App does not write the buyer information obtained for these evaluations to its database.
3. Storage and sharing with third parties
We securely store authentication and session information to the extent necessary to operate the App. Information about products and payment display rules is processed through the Shopify API. Except as provided by law, we do not sell or provide information to third parties without the individual's consent. Service providers needed for infrastructure operations and similar purposes may handle information to the extent necessary to fulfill those purposes.
4. Retention and deletion
While the App is in use, we retain information needed to provide the service. When the App is uninstalled, we delete the related authentication and session information, except for information that must be retained under Shopify requirements or applicable law. We also respond to deletion requests within a reasonable period.
5. Security
We take reasonable security measures, including access controls, encrypted communications, and use of the minimum necessary permissions, to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or damage to information.
6. Relationship with Shopify
Shopify's privacy policy and terms also apply to information handled on Shopify. The App is not a service provided or guaranteed by Shopify.
7. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy in response to changes in laws, Shopify requirements, or the App's features. We will give notice of significant changes through reasonable means.
